Ordering Prescriptions With VFP Pharmacy Group
We make the ordering and delivery of prescription medications easy. We aim to go above and beyond the standard level of service, offering customized order forms to match your current business model and other services to best suit your needs.
Getting Started With Us
When your patients’ prescriptions arrive at our pharmacy, we enter their personal information into our system, scan the order, and thoroughly review it for accuracy. A patient care coordinator then calls the patient to gather insurance information, contact details, and determines when the order should be shipped or picked up at one of our locations. If any issues with the prescription are discovered, we will immediately contact you to address it as quickly as possible.
When the Prescriptions Arrive
Whenever medications are shipped, your patients will be emailed a tracking number immediately after their packages have left our pharmacy. We ship most packages with shipper releases so no signature is necessary upon delivery. Therefore, your patients will not have to be at home at the time of delivery, unless otherwise requested. Packages should be opened immediately so that items requiring refrigeration can be stored properly.
At any time, patients may call their pharmacy to review their medications. A nurse or pharmacist is always available to help answer any questions patients may have regarding the administration and storage of the medication. Patients can also find helpful information in our Fertility Medication Handbook, Quick Start Guide, individual medication information that sent with the order and our online video resources for storage and injection lessons.
We Make Ordering Prescriptions Easy
Send us your patients’ prescriptions by fax or speak directly to our pharmacists. For clinical questions, you can reach our pharmacists by phone or text.
How to Order Refills
We ask that you help your patients anticipate their needs as best they can to help us deliver their medications in a timely manner. We recommend that your patients call us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid emergency situations, factoring in weekends and holidays. They may refill their medications by calling us or filling out the online refill request form. For those who are picking up their orders, we recommend they call ahead to ensure that their medications are ready when they arrive.
No refill left on your patients’ prescriptions? We are happy to help here, too. We invite patients to call or text us and so that we may reach out to your office and request another prescription on their behalf.
Paying for Fertility Medications
We provide complimentary insurance verification and accept most insurance plans. If your patients do not have insurance coverage, they may ask about discount programs, which are designed to reduce the cost of fertility treatments. Our acceptable forms of payment include MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards, cash, money orders, certified checks and bank checks.
